Landing Entrance Linear Fire Seals

These examples show the completed linear fire seals installed around the lift landing entrances.

Following installation of the new lift equipment, gaps were present between the lift entrance frames and surrounding structure. If left untreated, these openings would allow the potential spread of fire and smoke from the lift shaft onto the building’s landings.

Our team installed tested and compliant linear fire-stopping systems to reinstate the compartmentation at each floor level. The completed seals provide a continuous fire and smoke barrier, maintaining the integrity of the shaft and ensuring the building meets current fire safety requirements.

By addressing all landing interfaces as part of the overall project, the client received a safe, compliant and fully integrated solution.
